Our Programmes
We continue to pilot new ideas and initiatives that promote oracy, wellbeing, cultural engagement and improved educational outcomes.
Currently, this includes:
01
Long-terms storytelling programmes for primary and secondary schools. Students step into their role as storytellers to develop their confidence, oracy skills and cultural awareness.
02
ShapeShifters is a storytelling programme especially designed for young people in Alternative Provisions including Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). We explore themes of transformation and initiation then create our own shapeshifter stories.
03
Community groups of all ages and abilities delve into folklore and visual arts to explore and map their connections to the local environment.
04
Storytellers, gardeners and herbalists collaborate with local community groups of all ages and abilities to grow plants, understand their medicinal uses, and explore the folklore behind them.
