Our Programmes
We continue to pilot new ideas and initiatives that promote oracy, wellbeing, cultural engagement and improved educational outcomes. Currently, this includes:
01
YoungTellers is an initiative to deliver bespoke, long-terms storytelling programmes for primary and secondary schools. Students step into their role as storytellers to develop their confidence, oracy skills and cultural awareness.
02
ShapeShifters is a storytelling programme especially designed for young people in Alternative Provisions including Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). We explore themes of shapeshifters and initiation to then create our own stories of transformation.
03
Community groups of all ages and abilities delve into storytelling, folklore, and visual arts to explore and map their connections to the local environment.
04
Storytellers, gardeners and herbalists collaborate and teach local community groups of all ages and abilities to grow plants, understand their medicinal uses, and explore the folklore behind them.
We keep it fresh!
We value collaboration and experimentation. If you have some ideas about how we might collaborate, or if you want to see how any of these programme could work for you, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
